Except Republicans wouldn't be behind it. Yeah, I read this to mean that the Democrats know they aren't going to win those key areas, so start complaining now. Kind of like Kerry with OH in 04.

The elderly at my poll were taking forever figuring out the computer. The judges were bringing out magnifying screens, etc. I have never seen so many senior citizens in that neighborhood before in my life.

Yep. Webb's people are ALREADY whining about voter suppression. They started a couple of days ago. I'd love to see their internals!

It's the latest Dem trick. If you can't win the election, undermine public confidence in the results.

the old geezers vote Dem anyway, unfortunately....their inability to push a button or know anything about a computer is good for the GOP.

Yes, yes, that's what I meant. But Dummies would want everyone to think so, to think that Republicans are willing to stoop to their levels.

Yeah, I read this to mean that the Democrats know they aren't going to win those key areas, so start complaining now. Kind of like Kerry with OH in 04.

Exactly. If I were a Democrat, and I've said this to a few I know, I'd be a little disappointed that the leadership of my party thought I was too incompetent to use the new machines, to get myself to the voting place in a timely way, and to expect that fraud simply must occur. But that's why I'm not a Dummie. Ok, among other reasons.

Yep, start early. I noticed that here in PA. Rendell quickly and without a lot of hype pushed through his slot machine agenda. A sign to me that he feels some threat of losing ground to Swann, even if he does win. And amazingly, if Webb wins all whining will cease and no mention of the issues will come up and Repubs who dare mention it will be shot down as sore losers. Win-win for the whiney Webb. (Of course, should he lose, the voter suppression will be breaking news...)
