ABC News Agrees With Kerry- Troops Are Dumb
Nice headline from ABC- "Your Trusted Source!"
ABC News motivates the troops...

ABC News... "Perhaps he had a good point."
Notice how ABC agrees that Kerry's slam on the military was just "a joke"?
And, how could ABC possibly question that our troops are stupid as Kerry "jokes" when the facts show that Kerry is not just insulting but wrong.
** The Coaltion of the Swilling has another one, too.
Here's the latest headline (11:45 AM) from ABC...

ABC still is asking under "Vote 2004", "Does Kerry have a point?"
The New York Times is also running interference for Kerry today. Big time!
It's no wonder democrats are ashamed.

On Hannity tonight, he brought up a position Kerry took when he was running for Congress. Kerry was against creating an all volunteer military, because our military would end up being made up of mostly poor slubs.

Texaggie79 still doesn't get it?

I doubt it. Some have to be hit by a brick wall before it sinks in.

Shoot, I gave it a go, like, two days ago. SoldierDad, I admire your persistence.
To: GoLightly
Not persistence, but stubborness. As Winston Churchill stated at a college graduation ceremony either before or just after the end of WWII "Never Give Up", "Never Give Up", "Never Give Up".
Not sure, but I think me meant "Never Give Up".

I don't know what to do man. It's like watching little kids tell me that they have proof that there is a santa clause. Do you laugh at their ignorance or do you pity them? I don't know any more.

You can dry up and blow away. Your shtick is getting old. We won't permit schlepers to get away with schleping for Kerry on FR. Go away, you're just droning on, and on, and on, without any destination in mind. It's really rather sad and pathetic (or for some it's very entertaining to listen to your pathetic whinning). Thanks for the entertainment. Now down comes the curtain.

I think just staying quiet and letting them continue to believe in him is the best choice.

If you blunder the punchline when you're telling a joke, how do you react? Do you react like nothing happened or do you immediately try to retrace yourself in the joke to get it right?

That's what I don't get. I don't see it as a "botched joke" because, to me, it makes perfect sense, seeing how Kerry sees our president by saying "you get stuck in Iraq." It doesn't need the "us" he claimed he forgot.
I'm glad though he has reacted quite stupidly to the whole issue. He deserves every bit of bad press he gets.

Kerry tries to be too smart by half. If what you say is true, he's demonstrated how he can't see beyond his own navel in this whole thing. The thing that put him in the stew pot is the same thing that's kept him there.
