RNC CHIEF KEN Mehlman accepted political contributions from gay porn king?
Last week, you'll remember, the RNC, headed by Ken Mehlman, was running that race-baiting 'bimbo' ad against Rep. Harold Ford (D) down in Tennessee. One of the barbs in that ad was the claim that Ford had taken political contributions from "porn movie producers."
But it seems there is plenty of porn movie producer money to go around.
It turns out that the Republican National Committee is a regular recpient of political contributions from Nicholas T. Boyas, the owner and CEO of Marina Pacific Distributers, one of the largest producers and distributers of gay porn in the United States.

From the below goole link, it shows a nicholas boyias, of Marine Pacific distibutors of North Hollywood, CA, gave Phil Angelides $1,000.
Link
While on campaignmoney.com a Nicholas Boyias from Chatsworth, CA(about 20 miles west of North Hollywood, CA,) gave about $1,000 total to the national and California RNC.
Link
So this can be a case of two different nicholas boyias, giving to 2 different campaigns.

Well, to be fair, it might not (just) be the FEC. Could be the author of this article. I googled Boyias and got more hits (most of which I did NOT want to check out if you get my drift) than I got with the spelling the author of the above article uses. I also looked up the graphics of the files at the FEC and those pics of the paperwork show the name spelled with the "i".

A big corporation secret:
Many of them have subsidiaries that own sub-subsidiaries that produce porn. Porn is a very profitable industry.

I have no sympathy for the campaigns. Of either party. If they can't be bothered to check who's sending them money, then they deserve what they get. Considering the sophisticated databases they have for trolling for cash, they should be able to figure out who's sending it. Anyone who took this guy's dough deserves the embarrassment. Oh please get off your perfection horse. They get thousands of checks every day and some bad apples are going to get through no matter what.
BTW, when you reach your perfect political world, how bout sending me a post card. JMO, that post card will a long time coming.

Probably the same guy. Lives in Chatsworth, does business in North Hollywood.

Do you have any idea of the databases both political parties have? They know who's got money. They know who's sending it. This is more about sticky fingers than ignorance.

I don't expect perfection. But I do think expecting a candidate to refuse money from porn perchants isn't too much to ask.

"I searched it, and it showed 3700.00 in contributions in mostly 250 increments."
Those little increments is how they sneaked it in under the RNC radar.
I smell a democreep conspiracy.

I'm a hypocrite.
When I was a teenager I experimented with drugs.
Today as a parent I admonish my children to not experiment with drugs.
There are worse things than being called a hypocrite.

You care to give one example or source, or are you just pulling this out of your backside? I vote for backside.

Hey atilla.
The MSM may start beating their drum over this...but I don't think many will dance to their rhythm.

During a not so long ago campaign for governor in CA, groups with Christian sounding names were contributing to this Republican Candidate's Campaign. NAACP came out saying -- aha! This Candidate is taking donations from white supremacist groups. Back out now, or we'll blast the internet and MSM with it.
Within days, the R candidate brought pro-life/anti-abortion to forefront in his campaign.
California got D-Gray Davis for its governor.
Ergo, I concur with your post: BFD. I've seen the world go round and round. I've seen "planted campaign donations", too. GOP should not worry over this "blurb" but continue to forge ahead.

That happens. And sometimes, I've found females contributing under their legal names while also contributing under their maiden names AND their business names. I've found "ethnic" groups contributing under their "ethnic" name while also contributing under their "American" names.
So, it glows...

Have to disagree with you. During certain campaigns we received copies of letters from leftist groups with a ton of "allied organizational" names on the letterhead. Doing a great deal of digging, it was revealed it was only 5 people but having filed under multipled 5013c orgs names.
You look at the letterhead, ya think, "hundreds". But it wasn't. It was 5 people.
