With the possible exception of folks like Lincoln Chaffee, almost all Republicans are more conservative/less liberal than the Democrat running against them. If you lived in Illinois you would never make such a crazy comment.

If you lived in Illinois you would never make such a crazy comment. I live in Illinois and the tendency holds true here. The fact that Topinka is Blago in a dress doesn't mean that most Republicans are as liberal as most Dems, not by a long shot, not even here.
