To answer the question in the op about how my life has been over the last 6 years:


With one minor exception...pretty damn good.

I got to put the uniform back on full time.

I married the woman of my dreams.

I adopted two wonderful children.

And I have the ability to provide for all of them put food in their bellies and a roof over their head.

Oh and I've managed to get a pretty nice raise every year too.

Not too shabby if you ask me.

Well, let me recount the last 6 years of my life. I, like you, have had a good run.

Here goes:
My first wife of 22 years left me and our 2 sons...
I met a marvelous woman with 3 son, married her...
Lost my trucking job of 20 years when the company went bankrupt...
Got a better job with the Postal Service...
Became a Christian...

I put my faith in God, not GWB and certainly not the government. With Him, nothing is impossible!

If you think about it, to the DUmmies, the government is their god, and (according to them) since the government isn't what they want or need, they are depressed...their "god" can't save them....
