France: Schoolgirl Stoned In Playground For Not Observing Ramadan
Western Resistance ^ | 10/08/2006

With a hat-tip to reader Peter C, a truly horrific sign of the times comes from Lyon in the south of France, where a schoolgirl was stoned by Muslim students on Wednesday (October 4), for not following Ramadan. France-Echos reports on the incident, which is described in today's edition of Le Progres a paper serving the Lyon, Villeurbanne and Caluire-et-Cuire region.

This is a translation of the France-Echos report:

A schoolgirl was stoned on Wednesday in playground

For non-observance of Ramadan

According to information given by Michèle Vianès, from the Regards de Femmes organization:

The information that I gave Thursday from our cafe Regards de Femmes is in Le Progres today.

A schoolgirl of Jean Mermoz college in Lyon's eighth arrondissement (postal district) was pelted with stones on Wednesday morning in the playground because she ate a snack. The argument that the incident stemmed from the non-observance of Ramadan is confirmed by the Lyon prosecutor's office, based on initial results from its investigation.

Azzedine Gaci, president of the CRCM (Regional Council for the Muslim Religion) , states that "if the facts are proven, they are unacceptable". He deplores the ignorance of the pupils, who should be taught the Koran at school, and who are unaware that "women who are not feeling well" * are exempted from observing Ramadan.

Without other commentaries for today, I will keep you updated

Michèle Vianès

The front cover of Le Progres (here, in pdf, but not yet on its online site) states:

Ramadan fast: A college girl attacked

The attack happened in a recreation moment in the playground of Jean-Mermoz (Lyon 8th). Pupils of the third grade threw stones at an adolescent. The principal of the college said it was a simple incident, not premeditated. But for its side, the Prosecutor's Office of Lyon confirmed in the first stages of an inquiry that this this act could have been linked to the victim not observing the ramadan fast. The incident has provoked strong emotion in the education community.

The story continues on page 7 of the printed edition, which I do not have access to at present. Hopefully on Monday, today's edition will be online and I will update this story.

* Means literally "indisposed", or "out of sorts", and probably is a euphemism for her "time of the month".

The French should now call upon the Muslim community to spend more time with their children, read to them from the Koran, teach them ways of peace and submission. ChIraq should be the one to take to the airwaves. After all, he has a Muslim grandchild. It might take him a while. It took him 11 days to show up when Paris was burning.

Then they should remind them that the French state will not pay to teach religion schools. Heck, they're not paying for Redeker's accomodation (just his security detail), they don't pay for kids with special needs to be educated. They do a lot of stupid things in terms of disbursment of public funds, such as paying for every woman over 40 with a child to spend 3 weeks a year at the hot springs as a health therapy (men need a note from the dr.). They must hold firm together against this. One can hope. I'm not a fan of how they spend their money.

"And these are apparently third graders, making them 8 or 9 years old. Just think how they will be when they reach ages 18 or 19."

Truly frightening. If all of these incidents are "simple misunderstandings" why does someone always get hurt? Maybe what is taught in the koran is violence, violence and more violence. I am sick of them moving to a civilized nation and trying to impose barbarism. Puke be upon them.

Was the girl even a Muslim?

Unfortunately, I haven't found the entire article published in "Le progès de Lyon". The France-Echos site says "parce qu'elle était supposée musulmane", "because she was supposed to be muslim". Supposed by who ? By the aggressors. So, for the aggresors, the schoolgirl "looks muslim" (aka, in France, she's probably arabic). In their little head full of shit, that means that if you look arabic, you are necessarily muslim and if you are muslim, you must necessarily fasten during Ramadan month.

This is obviously dangerous and warning because :

-Thousands of arabics are christians, in Lebanon and Palestine for instance. Will they be obliged to fasten to be safe ? In France ? In 2006 ?

- Even if you are arabic and if your parents are muslims, you've got the choice to change of religion, or to don't believe at all (even if you are considered as an apostate by Islam, which theorically is punished by death). Do non-believers will be obliged to fasten too ?

- Even if you are arabic, muslim and a believer, it's your personal choice to fasten or not. Whatever your personal reasons are. Nobody should tell you if you are right or wrong. And most of all, nobody should aggress you.

So, this "playground story" in Lyon is not a little news item. It's about freedom of faith. And it's another step to "communauratism".

That's what he's saying. He didn't condemn stoning on a school playground as such, did he?

If I am the last man on the planet who refuses to submit... then so be it... I will be the last man.

...count me in. If we keep this up, pretty soon we'll have a squad.

They learn violent hate at an early age at HOME.

The deprogramming of the proponents of Islamic imperialism and the Islamic supremacists must be stopped now.

NO MORE tolerance for the antisemites who say that Jews are the subhuman offspring of pigs and monkeys, no more tolerance for the antisemties who cite the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and deny the Holocaust, no more tolerance for the rioting muslims who denounce our freedom of speech (including satire) and issue death threats by fatwa against "the blasphemers of Islam".

I don't have to tolerate anarchists who smash windows in a "peace protest", I don't have to tolerate KKK lynchings, and I don't have to tolerate muslim violence on kufir.

So he's inferring it's OK to stone women who are feeling well? Note he didn't say stoning was bad but only that there are exceptions.

If anyone tolerates the stoning of this girl in France (if in the end she is a muslim), they probably also support the Islamic concept of honor killings for fellow muslims (murdering a raped girl because she brings shame on the family).

I still call it child abuse. The Islamic apologists claim that they cannot criticize another muslim, this is why they do not denounce the terrorists. Seems to me these kids criticized the faith of this girl.

Still waiting for the muslim outrage against terrorists.

A muslim prayer room would also serve as a muslim "safety zone" if Islamic extremists were to conduct a Beslan type raid on a school (say, during one of the prayer hours).

It would serve as a way for the terrorists to sort the faithful from the kufir.

Back when I was in school a schoolgirl getting stoned on the playground had a whole different meaning.

I like that bumper sticker. I suspect that sporting a bumper sticker might provoke the cops, IRS, and other government agencies who think that the bumper sticker is aimed at THEM.

The problem isn't that they're ignorant is Islam. It's that they understand it properly and obeyed it.

France needs to begin mass deportations. An incident like this, they should deport 20,000 minimum back to their native lands where the precious Koran rules supreme.
