BY ALL MEANS COME AND KILL ME (OR TAKE YOUR BEST SHOT) BECAUSE I WILL NOT SUBMIT.
This is a clash of civilizations which the Islamic world cannot win. Theirs is a world devoid of reason or even inquiry, while ours has been the source of the pinnacle of all human accomplishment. They cannot win, but we can lose if we refuse to fight, or continue to pretend that they will be appeased.
I'm just one man. I'm not particuarly important or powerful, and I'm not capable of rallying masses. But today I'm drawing a line in the sand, for myself, alone. Beyond this line I personally will not retreat. Today, in my small and likely irrelevant way, I'm saying publicly to the Islamic world...I will never submit to the tyranny of Islam. I will not be compelled by threats of force, and I will return the use of force with force in kind in my own self defense. If I am the last man on the planet who refuses to submit... then so be it... I will be the last man.
From now on I will display this message in every public place:

It's my hope that others will see my public statement and be emboldened to say the same thing, but if not, then at least I will know that I did what I felt I had to do.
I'm a man, a father, and an American citizen. I will sooner fight and die than see my family and community be made into slaves. And I'm no longer going to pretend that the Muslims of the world mean to do anything else.
I agree completely that throwing rocks of any size is contemptible. I just wanted to know more details. As contemptible as throwing rocks is, one or two twelve year old boys throwing rocks is different from a coordinated attack of fifteen or sixteen guys throwing much bigger rocks. I can make that claim without apologizing for being sympathetic to these guys. I teach middle school boys, and ANY rock throwing (which is very common among the middle school set) is punished. I just wanted to know how many were involved, and how big the rocks were.
Wow, interesting read....European Jihad indeed! And total silence from the US MSM, too.
"simple incident"
Murder is always a "simple incident" for these pigs.
...you are not alone...
You have more friends than you know.
Wow. It's like making a crack in a dam. If the French don't hold firm on that resolve to separate church and state, then there is no holding back the flood of demands that will be made upon it. I think in this case the Protestants and Catholics would be better served to uphold the separation. If a religion needs tax monies (as opposed to tax exemption like we have here) to support itself, there is something wrong with that religion.
And these are apparently third graders, making them 8 or 9 years old. Just think how they will be when they reach ages 18 or 19.
When stones are outlawed, only outlaws will have stones
Rutabega,
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I never believed that you were being apologetic for islamic youths!
However, given that the 'religion of peace' crowd gleefully straps bombs on their children, and then celebrates their explosive deaths, especially if innocents are killed. Given that muslims are involved...
I'll posit the following... The islamic adults put these kids up to this act to gauge the reactions of non-muslims. All this is testing the water for further aggressive acts
Sounds exactly like the civil war with escalating casualites that we hear so much about in Iraq.
This is one of those times when (very loosely paraphrased) "we should stick together or else we will surely hang together."
The so-called fasting at Ramadan is a farce anyway. They can eat all they want during Ramadan as long as it's after the sun goes down. So, every night . . . .
A fake fast for a fake religion.
Even if a lot of muslims in France are acceding to the middle-class level, the muslim community in France is poor. So, if muslims want to have mosques they have a few possibilities :
- To gather money from local muslims. But it's long, difficult and often muslims themselves are absolutely unable to work together, because of the rivalities (and sometimes hatred) between algerians, moroccans, turks, tunisians... So the project fails.
- To built cheap and most of the time "clandestine" mosques, by transforming cellars in mosques for instance, what we call "L'islam des caves". As being unofficial these mosques are very difficult to survey by the police. A perfect place for islamist's activities and recruitment.
- To solicit rich muslims or rich muslim countries to finance "official" mosque's building. So we know that a lot of mosques in France have been, more or less secretely, largely financed by Saudies or Koweities, for instance. By wahhabi countries... Great, isn't it ? And a lot of imams, often formed in Saudi Arabia, are directly payed by Algeria or Morrocco. That's really a form of religious ingerence in France.
- And, at last, to solicit the state and the local autorities. But the law strictly forbids religious activities financing. So some politicians (even right-wing politicians) try to modify the law. Their argument : if the state helps to built official mosques, to form french imams and to pay them, it would be the end of the illegals "mosques des caves" and of the foreign influences on french muslims, and then the end of islamism in France and France would be saved and so on... Insane they are.
No, in France, third graders are 14 or 15 years old.
And they eat a lot at night ! I can personaly testimony.
But I can tell you that at the end of the day (about 7 pm here in France), muslims look very tired and nervous. A contrario, Ramadan month is a good time for non-muslims, at least before the sun goes down : no muslims in the cafes and restaurants. It looks like France 40 years ago.
Obviously the male muslim is expected to abuse women from a very early age.
Well that's what the girl gets for insulting members of the ROP by eating in front of them on such a holy holiday.
I'm being sarcastic!
"French response will be to clear all playgrounds of rocks and stones."
French response will be to make it a "hate crime" for stories like this to be published.
