While it's not considered kosher to use clinical definitions for a group, as opposed to individuals, look up "narcissistic personality disorder" and see how it applies to the DUmmies. To directly answer the question, they believe either or both of that they are untouchable by such tactics and/or that we aren't clever enough to use them.

Oh, it applies, all right. I'm no shrink, but most of them are closer to antisocial personality disorder.
