I can't remember a time when some person or another hadn't come up with a pseudo-reasoned sounding premise, that seemed to prove that disaster was just ahead.
I've gotten to the point that I take them in stride anymore. Some day one of them may pan out. And perhaps not...

That's how I look at it too. I'm prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. My house is paid off and I have food for a couple of months. Really all I have to worry about is taxes and utility bills.

I will open the paper, view the News on the internet or hear on my radio something positive about the economy, the war in Iraq or, even worse, something good about GWB and
