Midstate colleges not ready to brand academically dishonest students

Students who cheat will be awarded the grade of XF, the "X" signifying that they failed because of cheating, according to The Associated Press. Students may petition to remove the X after completing two years without any further violations.

But some midstate college administrators said they aren't ready to go that far...

Cheating should bring the penalty of expulsion. This isn't kindergarten. In professional life it would cause the loss of a career.

Why...Because they cheat too.

...And if administrators uphold that standard, it will come back to haunt them. What if, an administrator, who was an embezzler were to get caught. Would they be fired...

But if no fingers are pointed at students, the cheating will continue. And the administrators can continue embezzling funds and/or goods...

...So, all remains well in CHEATER, CHEATER land...
