BTW people who think they can use past military service as a weapon have forgotten why they served to begin with.

Ok I didn't weant to be a prick to you, but this comment forces me to jackass.
I'M CURENTLY (AS IN AT THIS TIME I'M WRITING THIS) on the end of a deployment. I'm in Kuwait cleaning vehicles so I can come home. So dont you dare say negative about that.
I'm not using my service as a weapon either ya frickin' prick. I'm just saying It has taught me things, and has given me the fortitude to stay strong in the things I believe in such as family, country, self respect, and God. I could never do anything to hurt any of those things.

I joined the National Guard in 2001 and liked the military lifestyle so much I went active duty in 2005 and proudly serve in a unit attached to the 6-101 Avn Bde. The reason i serve is simple i want to do what I can to keep America free. I also fight so pricks like yourself can trash talk military members who disagree with them.

What would you do? Would you give in to the kidnappers and do what they wanted?

You are waving your service like a club. My grandfather spent a winter in the Ardennes forrest but he didn't insert it into every argument as a means of declaring himself a winner or shutting it down. Most of what I know of my grandfathers service came from the men he served with because those men didn't talk about their experiences much.
