Finally! Someone is willing to go after this megalomaniac. Nobody remembers that, absent 9/11, Rudy was set to go down as a one-trick pony who utterly wasted his entire second term on: the Brooklyn museum; his prostate; and his tactlessly public crumbling marriage.

Sadly, of the four leading GOP contenders for the White House, we have: a gaffe-prone Mormon from Massachusetts who rides the laurels of his family name (Mitt Romney); a certifiable kook who’ll sell his soul for positive coverage from the Washington Post (McCain); a(nother!) gaffe-prone intellectual featherweight whose main claim to fame is a famous dad names George (George Allen); and a press-hungry dictatorial prosecutor who’s never even held statewide office (Rudy). While I still have my doubts about whether Giuliani will run . . . this field stinck.

(1) That last word should be "stinks."

(2) Yes, I know all about Henican. He's awful. But's he's more right than wrong on this one.

Yes, but compared to Hitlery, Gore, Kerry, Kucinich, Biden, et al..., they all look like crosses between Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Ronald Reagan in stature and wisdom.

Correction: The media wasted OUR time on reporting about it repeatedly. And it worked because that is all you remember about his second term.

Rudy getting treatment for a prostrate problem is wasting his time? Hmmm Shows where you are coming from and it's not a GOP mindset.

--------------------------------------------

Did you live in NYC before Rudy? Have you lived there since Rudy?

If taking a semi-burned out, nearly broke, racially torn, city of 8,000,000 that had been abandoned by the middle class and the corporations that support it, where it was truly unsafe to ride the subway or walk the streets, where hotel rooms were laying vacant in peak periods alongside real estate values at lows and turning it into the shining city on the hill where the reality of today is at the extreme opposite of what I just described was just a trick then I'd like to hear what qualifies in your world as a complex, extremely difficult job well done.

Yeah, Ellis Henican, The Village Voice, and CBS. LOL. I wouldn't be looking for any facts coming from any of that trio.
