I thought this was brilliantly succinct.

Fairly good synopsis, imo, and had the 'happy' ending, to boot.

I came across this earlier, and loved it! Follow the link in the comments section to another great read. I think it's in one of Hurricane Harry's posts.

You are truly the Thomas Kincaid of words...Uh, was that a deliberate insult, or just an accidental one?
I thought the piece was pretty good.

Well, it is good for a laugh and some wishfull bliss but the facts are too hard to take. The killing will never stop until there is no profit to it.

How to reason with a terrorist?
Shoot holes in him, then hunt down and kill his family.

Unfortunately we are chained by 'world opinion', or more accurately, the opportunism of the world's Socialistic states (AKA the UN), just waiting for the global propaganda opportunity to lambaste the United States and/or Great Britain for the "unprovoked use of nuclear weapons".
It does not help to have the fifth column of the MSM shilling for the other side in this, either.
We have to wait until the use of such is justified, even in the eyes of our enemies and those who are simply not our 'friends'.
That places us in a reactive, second strike stance. Not a good position, imo, but reality.
While there are few nations on earth we could not readily whip individually with conventional weapons, we cannot take them all on at once that way. No military on the planet could take on all the others at once.
Once nukes start flying around, though, all bets are off. Not something to be undertaken lightly, imo, and some restraint will have to be used when the time comes or the end product will be worse than the MAD scenarios.

Please fill me in on the gray areas as well as the sublime metaphors and subtle moral compasses involved in this struggle. I want to be able to read the words of one of your calibre and acuity. Out with kincaid and in with Shakespeare. I'll be waiting.....

Wait . Isn't August 22 coming tomorrow? Will the wackos seek to alter world opinion on that date?
