I tried to talk to Larry, but he wouldn't talk to me. His wig was over his eyes, and I told him, 'Man, you should pull your wig up, because you look like a dude in a dress.'"If Larry spent as much time thinking about some ideas for movies as he does accesorizing, he might not get his ass sued SUCESSFULLY for ripping people off. :)

... Off them, instead. Considering the context of the DUmbass thread, this seems to constitute a threat..

The Wachowski bros. have a better grasp of what's going on than many of us do methinks. The author Dan Simmons (as well as others) was pretty much ripped off by the WAcho brothers. He has intimated as much on his website. I'll take HIS grasp of reality over theirs anyday. (I am a huge DS fan, even bigger after his recent coming out...)

Blech!
It's funny how he even stole ideas from a REAL woman for his vapid Matrix trilogy. The dude has some enormous probs with women, and I have a feeling we will see that emerge with a vengeance someday, unfortunately.

So, did Buck keep the fem-equipment, as the nickname implies, or....or.....or....what? Here is a human that too often wondered, "What's it feel like for the other side?"
I really don't want to know.

I'd prefer pajamas, slippers, bathrobes and coffee mugs. It is the Blogbarian Pajama Brigade that needs to storm the gates, not creepy folks in masks. The real Pajamahadeen are too busy exposing CBS and Reuters for making up news.

Two ironies in one symbol:
1. The historical Guy Fawkes was the sort of "Religious Right" (Catholic) extremist loathed by DUmmies.
2. If the DUmmies ever got the kind of country they want, V is a symbol of the sort of people who would immediately start trying to bring it down.

That whole Larry W., Ilsa Stryx, Buck Angel triangle is sick beyond belief. And yet the DUmmies look upon the Wachowskis as some sort of heroes?

That's because DUmmies love fiction that enforces their own paranoia. They can't use Phillip K. Dick because he wasn't as liberal as they'd like to think (and he committed the ultimate sin--he was against abortion) even though the Wachowskis haven't one hundredth of his originality.
They do all the right "multicultural imagery" things and engage in "alternative lifestyles" so of course they're DUmmie Trekkie Comic Bookie poster- uh, "boys".

I don't get over there much, so thanks for those, will check them out now. Believe it or not I have read a lot of his stuff but not Hyperion--it's on my To Read stack right now. Song of Kali is my favorite of his other novels; I'm actually reading Hardcase right now.

However a thousand blogbarians marching in formation down pennsylvania ave would be quite the theater event. At least they're learning to manage expectations better. They're down from predicitons of "hundreds of thousands" to "tens of thousands" all the way down to "a thousand". A little further and they may actually zero in on the 100or so people who actually do turn up.

How about march on the WH with Constitution placards? Get back to me once you've read and understand the Constitution.

I have a few times posted Action Items and been told (Sometimes due to total lack of posts) that DU is more an arm-chair anger, not the do something anger... Back in the day, Lenin referred to these people as "coffee house revolutionaries".

I know this for sure: We will all have to face a great deal more of "black bagging", torture, loss of loved ones, and fear, before the blind among us are awakened to the horrors they have allowed. These people are out of their effing mind.
