Cindy Sheehan claims in an interview with Randi Rhodes on Air America that Iraq's ambassador to the United State tricked her into breaking her fast:
The ambassador from Iraq to America told us that if we would break our fast he would get us a meeting with Al Maliki.
And we were there all day waiting.
And, er, they had a reception there. And the Ambassador said that he would get a meeting with us if we would come in and we would break our fast with him. And so we agreed to it.
And pretty soon they all left without meeting with us.
This claim contradicts her and CodePink's own statements, which have announced that they had a "breakthrough" and were going to break their fast when they meet with Iraqi representatives for "peace talks" in Jordan.
She said long-term fasters, including Cindy Sheehan, whose son, Casey, was killed in the war in 2004, have been invited to meet with five members of the Iraqi Parliament in Amman, Jordan. The gathering will be to discuss the peace movement and publicly break their fast with the Iraqi peacemakers.
But I guess Mother Sheehan has decided it is better propaganda to blame her breaking her fast on the liar Al Maliki -- or rather, "Boot-liki" as she so cleverly calls the Iraqi elected head of state.
Mother Sheehan leaves for Jordan tonight. Her group also plans to visit Lebanon and Syria.
Tom Hayden will be part of Cindy Sheehan's entourage.
Just listened to this horrible woman, pair of horrible women...how can these people figure out how to get out of bed in the morning? They are SO STOOPID.
Sheehag uses "al Maliki" as if his name is "AL Maliki" from South Bend, Indiana or something...
Randi was afraid Cindy Sheehag was "going to die"...from being on her 'fast'...LOL!
Why don't we just ignore the Sheman?

or (2)
*Just to be fair, I selected the best shot of Cindy I could find. That's why it took me so long to reply.
Yes, they are. And they look ugly, as well.
Please note that once again my post has been hidden away in the bloggers section.
I guess this isn't news or activism, when Cindy Sheehan lies about the Iraqi head of state and plans to go to negotiate peace plans with the enemy.
Let's have another thread about Mel Gibson or the latest deep thoughts of Michael Savage.
"Why don't we just ignore the Sheman?"
You probably said the same thing when Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden went to Hanoi to have peace talks, too.
Well, that's obvious. The one below just got of the joint. He was in for child molesting and is now a woman.
I blame FReepers who insist on posting pictures of Cindy for my inability to hold down solid food.
I hate to say this, but in that picture she resembles a woodchuck. She's into wood, you say? "Get off the cross, Cindi -- We need the wood!!!"

This one didn't seem to have had a lot of original work/reserch the way some of your blog posts do.
You probably could have just posted the news story and added your comment and it would have stayed in news.
