Any Broward County Freepers out there have a used van for sale? Nothing fancy. I need to buy one and figure I would toss my business toward a fellow Freeper. If you have a good deal on a van or know of someone selling a van, please FreepMail me. Thanx.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

My children, for example, have never been to a church and were not baptized.
I hate to read things like this. Sad.
Father, forgive them.

Not outlawed but tightly regulated
Welcome to the new inquisition where science will determine which religious beliefes are acceptable. Disobedience will be punished with pain inducing scientifically approved drugs.

Loved the stuff about how it's a shame that science makes life better for us ignorant trolls. I was pretty happy when the power came back on last night, saving me from trying to sleep with no AC in midwestern August temps.

1. no minor should be allowed to possess a religious text, participate in a religious ritual or enter a church 2. no adult should be allowed to possess a religious text without taking a course in comparative world religion at the first year university level, and all such courses should be taught by Unitarians or Atheists.
And DUmmies aren't communists who want to take all the rights away from anyone who disagrees with them?? I should refer all the 'democrats' in my family to DU and let them see what their 'base' discusses on a daily basis.

Ahh, DUmmies talking about the opiate of the masses. So enlightened, so tolorant.
But I say only the Western Regligions (Islam, Christianity, Judaism)
Does this apply to the pre-christian religions of the west too? We know that many DUmmies are neo-pagans, can they no longer worship the goddess?
1. no minor should be allowed to possess a religious text, participate in a religious ritual or enter a church
So we can't teach children about the Eightfold Path and how it changed India, we can't teach them about the schism between Catholicism and Orthodoxy and how that effected both Europe and the Middle East, we can't teach about the Middle Kingdom because of Shintoism (throwing most knowledge of the Sons of Han right out), etc.
Ya know, banning science seems to fig right in with everything else they want to do.

Religion is brainwashing. It breeds passivity. The DUmmies can't even get their stories striaght on this ludicrous idea. This nutjob says that religion "breeds passivity", but the original poster syas that religion "seems to be at the epicenter of most of the worlds strife". Which one is it?

While these kinds of idiotic bloviations are always amusing, PJ, in my opinion the LOL-funniest DU threads are the ones where some DUer offers a narcissistic tirade about how horrible his life is, what obstacles he has to overcome, how no one recognizes his genius or specialness and how some conservative or other is ruining his life.
Those threads on "gifted" DUers had me in tears they were so delightful.

But I love the delicious irony of Luddites on the internet. [Especially luddites posting against technology on the web.]
Don't be so proud of this technological terror you have created. The ability to connect with other moonbats and post pure pablum is insignifigant next to the power of controlling the Judicial Branch.

Show me where the constitution 'mandates' that.

"My children, for example, have never been to a church and were not baptized. If it's something for them, it'll be their decision. "
What an idiot! He/she made that decision for his/her child. If he thinks he is allowing his child to make his own decision by refusing to allow the child to enter a church and actually find anything out about God, he's nuts.
Okay, I know I am stating the obvious here. He is a dummie.
