Congrats...now a Man among men.....
I remember him as the little boy who played in the hills in front of our home pretending he was rescuing people from the bad guys......

"I remember him as the little boy who played in the hills in front of our home pretending he was rescuing people from the bad guys......It's gotta be his dream come true...great to grow up in those circumstances, to value common sense, traditional values, and responsible perspective in one's life.

Have you sent him his very own copy of "Northwest Passage" yet?

Awesome! He is, as Sean Hannity says, "a great American!".

This is a very proud moment for your family especially your brother. He must be some special guy. Why don't you tell us alittle about him and how fit, level headed, resourceful he is and what made him into the man he is.

Rick grew up with a large poster of John Wayne on his wall. That's who he admired so much and seemed to pattern his life after. He does come from a very stable home and that helps. My father was very strict with us. My Mom has never worked outside the home. We were all raised with traditional American values. Rick, like myself, can adapt to most situations with ease. I think that's what makes him a great soldier.
