" Pitt's father was a bigwig with the Alabama Democrat party."

I see. So, this automatically provides him with an aura of importance. He was, therefore I AM!

I can see where the DU gang (I almost mislabeled them by using 'crowd') would buy into such garbage.

"I miss Allosaurs, by the way. Where the heck did he go????"

Life and freeperdome are fleeting. I dunno. But glad I raised the issue again. It is very important!

Bad Pitt posted another thread and he snuck in that Karl rove's indictment is imminent.

Pitt posting that Bush's pronunciation of "nuclear" drives him nuts.

Hello, 1999? How's the weather back then?

"Yes, but I'll bet Bukowski's doesn't have a chocolate fountain.

If they do, it's modeled after the PITT'ster. Yuck!

William Rivers Pitt - from your link... "I seize up like a poorly-oiled engine several times a day, and my teeth grate together so hard that it sounds like two icebergs colliding in the North Atlantic inside my head. It won't be long now before my body's ability to manufacture endorphins shorts out like an old fuse, and when that happens, I will probably collapse into a gibbering gob of pudding."

Sounds like it's 'Bukowski time' to me.

One more post (with correction by me) from your link...

" am not freaking out about the impending imploded indictment of Karl Rove in the Valerie Plame investigation.

There, that fixed it!

But here's a really good catch by one of the DUmmies (must've been a FReeper Troll) on Pitt's comments)...

Response to Original message 15. Karl Rove's indictment is imminent?

I thought Rove was indicted.

Or he would be indicted.

Or it was sealed.

I am having trouble keeping your story straight

Oh, oh, a call out! Time to lock this thread.

"We get a Kewpie Doll talking-head natterbrain named Tony Snow as press secretary for the administration..."

How about this jewel?
Wouldn't you just love to see a Tony Snow-Wee Willie pitt debate?

"Wouldn't you just love to see a Tony Snow-Wee Willie pitt debate?"

It would have to happen at Bukowski's. And people would get tired of the PITT'ster wandering off to the bar during the on-air segments. Slosh slosh slosh...

Yup! After all, Skinner has awarded him the crown of unaccountability by announcing the locking of any thread aimed at calling him out. Why should he respond with anything but 'Old essay', or whatever?

Just pointing out he has a pedigree beyond just being an internet keyboard jockey. Take it for what it's worth, but I bet his involvement in politics pre-dated the WWW.

Obviously written between Pitt stops at Bukowski's.

Yes, bouncing on his daddy's knee, no doubt. Sorry. I just have no respect the the, er, man.

LOL Yes, see, the plan has to be kept secret, so those who might try to foil it won't find out.

Kind of like military secrets during time of war, you DUmmie a-holes!

I had to take the dog to the vet this afternoon and stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home to get some meds for my own ear infection.

Getting out of my Jimmy I come face-to-face with a pit bull who's head is out the window of the S-10 next to me and he's trying to get to my face.

WOW! I'm still not over it. But, sitting here reading these DU threads again, it reminds me of the rabid DU in-your-face mentality and reaction to any opposing viewpoint. Case in point; the DU'er email I received at home (not here on FR) last Saturday because of a response I made to John F. Kerry at his official website, then posted here on FR. That response was virtually as rabid as the dog I just encountered. But then, they're all sweetness and light, aren't they?

They go rabid because the idea that someone has a different opinion from theirs terrifies them, as it suggests they may not know it all. They are intellectual cripples. I've posted here often and been called names, but while I would debate, I never feel threatened--I stand by my beliefs. DUmmies fantasize that once everyone sees the world they wish to create that all humans will go "WOW! So THIS is what you meant! I was so wrong to disagree with you!" Just as they think Islamofascists will have the same response if we all just sit and chat.

They hate because they fear.

'Fantasize' is a great way to put it because that's all it is; fantasy. Since I've been exposed to the DU (and KOs) community through the DUFunnies I've see a lot of symptoms of what I'd consider irrational disorders (I'm no psychiatrist or psychologist, thank God). For example, I've seen delusion, illusion, paranoia, confessed drug dependency, obsessive-compulsive display, bigotry, and unjustifiable elitism (is elitism ever justified?). Whew!

Any rational person witnessing this is NOT going to buy into their world. That's just part of the delusional aspect I mentioned. And the fear you mention is part of their paranoia. But if they took a rational approach it could lead to even further delusion and paranoia. Thus, I see their rejection of reality as a defensive mechanism as much as anything.

Good analysis. I'm always surprised at how often folks over there mention their mental health issues. They have that uncomfortable habit of "letting it all out" which never helps you get to know someone, only pushes you away.
