I was thinking about PITT'ster's 'connections' just awhile ago. While I don't know his full background, the only connection I know of any value would be his short-lived association with the Kocinich campaign. And that he tried to bargain into a role in the Kerry campaign; a gambit that backfired on him. Surely his association with Truthout/Marc Ash is of no value, their being a 'nowhere' pseudo news blog that only has capital with the far left kook fringes. Thus, that 'someone in power' actually has no power at all (except over Mr. Pitt, apparently.

Something I pointed out dozens of DUFUs ago, is that your "true" post number is actually post number n-2, with n being the number that is assigned to your post. The first one is PJ's post, and the 2nd (usually) is his ping. But alas, I was ignored by all except for Allosaurs-r-us, who asked something like whether or not I was a math major or a frustrated mathematician, or whatever.
