When former US President Jimmy Carter kicked off his son’s campaign for the Senate, junior was being sent to the rescue, he said because of the "illegal" spying campaign by the Bush Administration.
Jack "Chip" Carter, running against Republican Senator John Ensign, for the State of Nevada is the last one who needs anyone spying on him.

I think dumb is the wrong word for Jimmah, he is far from dumb, however he is very narrow minded and short sighted though.

It was at Jimmy Carter’s Carter Center where Jack Carter played the male escort role by taking convicted Saddam spy Samir Vincent on a tour. Rickover couldn't save him)...so, in Nevada, you have a decent incumbent running against a crooked upstart (the Navy's CID suspected that the Chumpster was even selling cocaine but couldn't prove it) so I suppose Nevada, with its reputation for gambling, prostitution, etc., is the right place for a Carter.
