Well, we picked the most "electable" candidate running in the '04 primary and we saw how that worked out.

If your party's "most electable" loses, ask yourself what that means about your party.

I remember when Kucinich had that "deer in the headlights" look. He said that the US troops should leave Iraq and the UN should go in. He froze when he was reminded that UN troops consist of a lot of Americans.

"Sad but true- just like Robin Cook in the UK who was a gifted politician but acknowledged that he would never become Prime Minister because he looked like a garden gnome"

Didn't stop the nasty Cook from cheating on his wife and screwing his secretary, did it?

Kucinich Wins Endorsement, Kiss From Date

BY KATE McCANN Associated Press Writer

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- A much-watched first date for presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich ended with kisses on the cheek and an endorsement.

"Gina, we'll talk," Kucinich told Gina Marie Santore after the two had breakfast Thursday with a gaggle of reporters and photographers nearby.

A political Web site, PoliticsNH.com, chose the New Jersey woman over nearly 80 other contestants for a date with the twice-divorced Ohio congressman. He had joked recently about what he wanted in a potential first lady.

Kucinich, 57, told reporters Santore's endorsement was more significant than Al Gore's backing of front-runner Howard Dean "and based on actual discussion."

The two met Thursday morning in the lobby of a downtown hotel and later discussed health care, medical malpractice and prescription drugs over oatmeal at a restaurant.

Santore, 34, of Maple Shade, N.J., called herself a lifelong Democrat. She said she works as a confidential aide to the Camden County sheriff in southern New Jersey and lives with her boyfriend. Kucinich attracted her attention, she said, because she found his views "intoxicating."

Asked if there would be a second date, Santore said, "I guess we're going to have to consult the schedulers."

Is there an anti-elvian prejudice afoot in the land?

There best not be! That would piss Ralla off even more.

You are wrong - Dennis has always been attractive to me and I believe to many other women, as well. He has way more sizzle than most men.

So why don't people vote for him? Because he looks like an elf.

No, people don't vote for him because he's a whacked-out loon (which makes him the clear choice of DUmmies everywhere).

The fact that he looks like an elf (though certainly not a Tolkeinish elf... more like a Keebler elf) just makes him easier to mock.
