Don't bother. I did and hardly ever use it. And PJ claims we won't need one for his podcast.

Another thing about ITunes for the IPod, the music format can't be conveniently burned to a listen-able CD. If you do a direct burn, the CD won't play in your car or home stereo. You have to get conversion software that converts the ITune file format to a WAV or MP3 format first. Then THAT file can be burned.

Just use your Real Player like you already do.

Must be something wrong with your burner. I've created several audio CDs from inside iTunes (including tracks downloaded from the store), and they play just fine in the car or stereo. Just make sure your "burn" settings say audio CD instead of data CD.
