Who Has Seen/Will See "Dead Man's Chest" Today?
Posted on 07/07/2006 11:06:15 AM PDT by AnnaZ
My younger son has been marking off the days -- 45 of 'em -- 'til today. There were 4 midnight shows he begged for (12:01, 12:02, 12:03, 12:04), but since he just turned six, I had to turn him down. We'll be going at 4.
He received just about every Jack Sparrow marketing device for his birthday on the 4th, and will be wearing the outfit to the show (LOL). He's been eating the cereal and M&M's for weeks.
I'm actually looking forward to it, as I love Johnny Depp.

Post your reviews here, if you wish, mateys!
(P.S. On a *slightly* more grown-up note, I saw The Devil Wears Prada last night and LOVED it. Streep is an absolute delight!)

Just remember: As global warming increases, there will be fewer pirates.

Probably have to wait to see it next week. Darn.

LOL. I had no idea how dire the circumstances really were. (Of course, Somali coastal cruise ships will be pleased.)
Besides, I've heard there's at least one more POTC installment on the way... they must be ignoring the Gorebage.

Johnny Depp? America's "sexiest" traitor? Forget him and his stupid movie.

My son and his girlfriend called at 11:30 last night to ask if they could catch the opening midnight show. He really enjoyed it.
I can't wait to see it. Loved the original. But alas... I don't do theatres too well. Too dang loud. I'll patiently wait for the video to come out.

It's two-hours of air-conditioned (some say) entertainment, with popcorn refills.
I love popcorn.

"Besides, I've heard there's at least one more POTC installment on the way..."I'm hearing that also. Keith Richard will play Jack Sparrow's dad?! They won't need computer graphics to show him in the moonlight...

At least he put his money where his mouth is and moved to France. :)
He is still pretty cute (and a good actor).

We enjoyed the first one but judging from the trailers I've seen, I wager this sequel will be a dud.
You read it here first...

I saw that story about Keef the other day. The two of them together should be a hoot.

I probably won't see it for a while.
BTW, my daughter turned six on the 1st of the month.

I sincerely hope not, but I'll let you know. (I LOVED the first one. Pure non-stop entertainment.)
