All I know is that my husband was furious when he found out that in the beginning of this movie, when they were supposed to say FIGHTING FOR TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND THE AMERICAN WAY, the left out "THE AMERICAN WAY." He said he'll never go see this movie.

Well did you expect Perry White Editor of the Daily Planet (The New York times) to say American Way?

I'll have to side with your husband on that point. I'll probably see the movie, but that changed phrase is going to frost me!

In other words, they restored the original version. "The American Way" was added in the '50's when Superman became an *extremely* bland white-bread superhero.

The only reason I would even consider seeing this movie, if and only if, Kate Bosworth does a nude scene. ;)
