Superman did a conservative message sneak in? (Warning: Full of Spoilers)

I think that inflatable silver Krytponian bed in Superman II was actually a licensed intergalactic minister who married them while they were otherwise engaged (ahem).

Multiculturalism... Perhaps it was that rare Patagonian Marriage Ceremony that merely requires the bride be gifted with a Bird of Paradise Flower from the side of the Mongohelamachahoochie volcano... present the flower and POP! you're married.

That explains why merely kissing her in the morning causes her to forget everything...

Well, just keep in mind: Superman was a creation of Jews*, not Christians... for whatever that's worth. Would be interesting to see an alternate reality Superman where the Kents were actually old-school Hasidic Jews... Kal-El with the beard, the hair, the hat and the many, many attempts at a circumcision, might be kinda interesting.

* Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were both Jewish. Apparently there is much of the Golem legend in the early Superman stuff.

"This Lois is no slut. She has been getting knocked around for being an unwed mother but lets look at the facts of the story. In Superman 2 Lois and Clark get married and have sex while he is human. Lois' memory of those events are wiped clean and Superman leaves (Superman 3&4 never happened). Ok Lois ends up pregnant and the man that made her that way is gone. What does she do? Does she run out and get on welfare? No she finds a man and gets engaged Thats the right thing to do. When Superman comes back does she just throw away the fiancee that has raised her son and jump into Superman's arms like he wants her to do. No, she calls her fiancee a good man and for the sake of her son stays with a man she does not love as much as she loves superman. My GOD that is a conservative value. Everyone attacking this movie for Lois having a child out of wedlock are wrong."

So she did not really have a child out of wedlock - it's a superman child. However the conservative thing to do is not just to get engaged and live together unmarried - too much of that going on in society today and it is definitely a liberal thing.

I saw the movie in IMAX & 3D.
I liked it alot.
The whole unwed mom crap didn't even cross my mind. Some people are just looking to hard for things to complain about.....the movie was good...not great. But, in 3D IMAX...it looked amazing.
