The term "Barking Moonbats" comes to mind.
Barely in the top 25, but I'm there :-)

Rush, Rush, Rush. I love ya, babe, but dude, ya gotta BE MORE CAREFUL!!! I know you wanted to get your Rush on...someone, but...
OTOH, this scares me. The TSA folks are going through our PRESCRIPTIONS in our luggage, now? I only take what is prescribed and some OTC stuff, but my gosh, this IS a real invasion of privacy. Did they just single out Rush's luggage because it was Rush? The irony is that the prescription was in his doctors' name because he wanted to maintain his privacy, which had already been invaded by the release of his medical records. And now it's plastered all over the news. So much for privacy. I mean, it wasn't like it was Oxycontin or some other controlled substance. It was VIAGRA.
Are the DUmmies really stupid enough to think Rush's main audience is bible bumping fundamentalists who hate all non-procreational sex? Oh wait, OF COURSE they are that stupid. They still think Kerry beat Bush.
"the coverup has begun"
Geez. These people are beyond hope.
Bbbut the pills were for Gain, not Pain! Case Closed!
"If there's just Viagra, he can probably skate, BUT, the way the thing was written up, it sounds as though there were other pills in the bottle..."
Dang that awful right wing media slanting stories to make Rush look bad! All this from a site that regularly brags about all the drugs they take......
It is a violation of federal law to keep prescription pills in anything except their original bottles. Every citizen who uses a weekly planner like you have is a criminal.
That's the goal of the totalitarian state, to so envelop the world in laws that everyone is a criminal.

"I take 3 prescriptions and I keep them in one of those little plastic cases with the days of the week on them."
Just so you are aware, that alone is a felony. Of course, it would be ludicrous that you would end up charged, but just be careful not to get to active as a RW conspirator!
DUmmie, your compassion is overwhelming. I'm not so sure that praying for bad things to happen is how it works.
Probably.

All prescription medicines are controlled substances. (There are varying levels of control.)
This is criminal stupidity on Rush's part. Now that we know that Rush has a doctor who isn't adverse to breaking the law by prescribing pills under a false name and giving them to another party, what is to assure us that this doctor hasn't done the same with other, more serious pills?

"Good Grief"
Quoting the infamous Charlie Brown. Lucy did it again. Will they ever learn? Nope.
"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with." ('Atlas Shrugged' 1957)
When I read the stupidity of the DUmmies coupled with your comments, it's like I'm experiencing FR's own version of South Park.
