So, it appears that theres growing evidence that there were some good old fashioned weapons of mass destruction kicking around inside Iraq since 2004, just like Mr. Rumsfeld, the Army, and CNS News said there would be.
But as we watch and wait for the mainstream media to do nothing about the growing revelations of their discovery, they pay no attention to the comments by Senators Rick Santorum and Peter Hoekstra, the translations of Saddams reports, the growing body of evidence, and the fears that other delivery systems and agents may yet fall into the hands of the Islamist brigands.

The MSM finally found a SECRET they could keep even after it was declassified. They found one anonymous source to pooh pooh it and presto all curiousity fanished.

the Times's new publisher, Arthur "Pinch" Sulzberger Jr ... was a sixties anti-war activist who famously declared that in a confrontation between an American and a North Vietnamese soldier he'd want to see the American get shot."

Pinch is no longer a newspaper editor. Hes an active Islamist agent. Wow, some heavyweight stuff in that article by Mr. Burtis. And I agree with all of it... Right on!

Wouldn't it help the situation if Bush (or Snow) did a press conference announcing all the WMD we've found, it's types, and it various locations. At least something!
If there is a media blackout. Shouldn't the Administration break that blackout by having a press conference?

"the fears that other delivery systems and agents may yet fall into the hands of the Islamist brigands."
This seems to indicate a logical reason for the Bush Administration to say what they did about not WMDs found after the war.
Perhaps by saying this, the race to get them would be postponed until we had better control of post-war Iraq and gave us more time to search for them quietly?

Yeah. I simply cannot understand why those idiots at the White House DON'T fight back. I just can't figure it out.
Hoped Tony Snow might make a difference, and he has, a little. But the administration seems asleep.

I think (hope) it's simply a strategy to draw the enemy (and enemedia) into a trap.

I think that Bush's top advisors are figuring that the best strategy is to not say anything. I can't understand why!
The libs are basing their whole hate campaign on "No WMDs."

'I think (hope) its simply a strategy...'
This was my hope during the run-up to the 2004 election when President Bush faced a weak-kneed, psuedo-European poser as the Democrat nominee. It should have been a simple matter to slice and dice this man without breaking a sweat. Instead, the administration ran a campaign that kept us on pins and needles until the early morning hours the day after the election. Why, when the fifth columnists unload every untruth they can come up with on us can't we destroy them using the truth. Deployed in a mocking Reaganesque fashion it would be devastating.
To: dogcaller
Mainly because....Bush ain't no Reagan (unfortunately). Reagan was THE greatest president this country has ever had. I wish we could clone him, give him plastic surgery, and replace Bush with the 'new Reagan'. Sound wacky? Perhaps, but it IS within the realm of possibility.

It's my hope that around January, 2008, President Bush will deliver his SOTU address, and it'll go as planned. "Union is strong," "Economy is booming," "Yadda-yadda---"
Then, he'll say, "About Iraq. Sergeant-at-arms? If you could, please?"
The Sergeant-At-Arms then guides his staff to assist rolling out five crates toward the middle of the room. They then open them all, revealing cylindrical devices made of shiny metal, cased in clear Plexiglas.
President Bush then continues with, "These are five inert nuclear devices that Saddam had made specially built for Osama Bin Laden. They're completely harmless here. So nobody panic."
"We discovered these in June of 2003. We kept them quiet for several reasons. First, we needed to gather all of the information as to where the components were acquired to build them. Saddam had to have enlisted the expertise of other nations to do this, and we had to track them down without them knowing that we were.. Second, we had to find out what their destined targets were, in case the enemy had some sort of contingency plan in place in the event that the devices were found. Most important, we had to use them as a lure for the types who would have used them against us."
"These were intended to strike Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver and Houston. Our experts have concluded that they're about 25 megatons each."
IF President Bush makes this speech, and that's a really big, "If,"
What do you think will be the result?
