The Clinton economy was better? Hm. I guess he DID bounce back from the 1993 WTC attack.

If this poll is accurate (I have my doubts), the American people are incredibly, frighteningly stupid.

Also, Russians believe things were better under Stalin, and the Chinese really miss Mao.

Of course Clinton won.Very few people understand that when confronted with the WTC,the regular, flagrant violations of UN resolutions by Sadaam,Kobar Towers, the African embassies,Bin Laden and the USS Cole, the best that The Most Ethical Administration In History could muster was a couple of cruise missiles fired at an aspirin factory.

I believe P.J. Rourke called the Clinton Era the time of the 10 cent conscience and the 20 dollar cigar.

Although there are millions of Republicans who are upset with Bush about illegal immigration and spending, that hardly translates into them supporting Clinton. Clinton basically did next to nothing about national defense and allowed the slide of America into a liberal morass on social matters to continue. The ugly fact is that many Americans are ignorant.
I had a friend at work declared a while back that when Clinton was prez, the country never ran so well. I had to lecture him on a few things about Clinton. But he is like millions of other Americans. They are wrapped up in their personal lives and have very little interest in national affairs. Even so my friend voted for Bush in the last election.

Even more ironic when you consider that Clinton was busy sodomizing interns while Al Queda plotted 9-11.
Its easy to be popular when you avoid conflict. Clinton just kicked the can down the road.

A recent CNN poll compared former President Bill Clinton's job performance to that of President Bush, and, to no one's surprise, Bill Clinton won.
Be fair. There were two presidents in the previous administration.

They must have restricted this poll to the same idiots who think Carter was a wonderful president and the best former president ever.
