I don't know. It was once like the home town paper away from home, for our troops overseas and now it seems to have been hijacked by the left.

I ordred the Stars and Stripes while my son was deployed overseas during X42.
Couldn't believe the garbage I was reading. Total bias against the republicans.

I have the Stars and Stripes on my favorites list, but I only went there once. Our troops deserve better.

When I discussed this with my son he said he thought the overseas publications of Stars and Stripes was much better.

After an extensive study was conducted that included a number of focus groups, Lund Media Research determined that talk radio and country music should be largely eliminated to make room for hip-hop, rap and pop formats, according to Stars and Stripes. What about using Arbritron to see what the troops are listening to -- Americans don't have committees to dictate tractor construction this year and only books on farming. The market makes the call.
Liberals love committees. If committees called entertainment we'd all be listening to Air American and watching West Wing.

Put Lt. Steven Hauk in charge of Armed Forces Radio. He'd get us back to Lawrence Welk music, just like in "Good Morning, Vietnam"

Maybe we can get them to put Savage on instead. :)

Less news and talk, and more hip hop rap and pop? Talk about dumbing down our troops!
Hip-hop? It ain't hip and I ain't hoppin'!!
