You bunch of keyword manipulating whiners. Fine here is some explanation:

There was some guy selling a laptop on Ebay and some student bought it. The student discovered the Laptop was broken but the seller refused to refund.

The student managed to repair the laptop and found all sort of personal info of the seller still on the harddrive including porno, gay porno, phonecamera pictures taken of womans legs in public, CV's with lots and lots of lies in them etc.

So he published it and send a link to the site to everyone in the sellers adressbooks he found on the laptop.

Funny? If you have even rudimentairy sense of humor: yes.

Yes, that is pretty funny.

I think the prob is that your headline here makes it sound like YOU sold a broken laptop on Ebay, LOL. A little more info in the OP might have helped.

Funny, but probably illegal. At a minimum the seller could claim copyright violations and the millenium copyright act is a biatch. It would have been much better to turn the hard drive over to the authorities and spend a few bucks on a clean one. Then real hilarity would ensue.
