I agree, rikkir. BTW, Charles is a Lutheran minister. Last I knew, he was/is also a PhD candidate in Biblical Studies.
BTW, whaddya mean that you're not one of the "favored" ones around here? We love you, too!
It's possible that Charles' account was hacked by an angry DUmmie.
Yep....I'm old enought to remember when the news sets (like the Dave Garroway "Today Show") all had clocks showing the various timezones.
Yes, I think it's time to set up a CH ping list. Every time I've ever read a post by CH, it was always a voice of reason. I strongly suspect this was a case of either a misunderstood pun - or an unattended computer that was logged in.
I enjoy Charles's replies. I don't know why he was suspended, but there must be a mistake.
RFKjr is back....back on the SMACK!
I happened to read Charles' posts. He told two jokes about the disabled Vet who is suing M. Moore.
I was not offended, but can see how others might have been.
Others have told similar jokes and have not been suspended. Was the mod having a bad hair day?
I think they were just taken the wrong way. I can't believe, after a year of reading CH's posts, he meant to insult this Vet. I guess we have all posted things that seemed funny at the time, yet did not go over well in print.
I think it is obvious why the exit polls were so wrong. Republicans are much more mature and keep their vote private. They'll walk past a poll taker and say "I'm sorry, that's personal". Meanwhile, the DUmmiecrats will spout off to anyone in a immature manner and that's the exit poll that gets counted.
Reliving election night is soooo much more fun when you know the outcome! I love to watch the DUmmies meltdown all over again.
The exit polls were wrong because the results that were released early were raw data, unadjusted by party affiliation or gender. The results that showed Bush close in Virginia and NC were had a mix of 60% women/40% men. When the exit polls were adjusted at the end of the night, when actual voter information came in, Mitofsky's final release was adjusted to show the correct results, that Bush won. Of course SmackBaby knows this, but he is too strung out to admit it.
Charles is the kind of guy that will feel really bad that anyone would have taken his jokes the wrong way, especially this Marine. We all know that it was not his intention to make fun of this young man.
We should probably try to remember that our host here at FR is a disabled man who probably doesn't enjoy posters making jokes at the expense of handicapped people.
"I think it is obvious why the exit polls were so wrong."
I was part of Florida's GOTV effort. What happened was that MSM staff leaked the locations of exit pollsters to their friends in the Kerry campaign. Kerry volunteers then swarmed those locations, pretended to be voters leaving that particular polling place, then found a pollster and lied to them.
The intent was to exagerate Dem turnout early in the AM to discourage Rep voters [who are more likely to vote later in the day after they get off work].
Whats hillarious is how badly it backfired on the Dems. They were popping champagne corks at 3PM, but vomitting by 10PM.
I can't keep the BushCo secrets anymore. I mean, for $1,000 I would simply tell them everything. And I do mean everything about how we steal these elections!!
I'm poor and I could use the cash to pay my online costs. If there is a DUer out there who wants to kno everything, find the cash and sign up for an account and FReepermail me.
**!!** I am sorry... no more lies! no more lies man!!
really, weird!
Joe Kennedy STOLE the West Virginia primary for JFK in 1960 when he beat Hubert Humphrey by paying off the country sheriffs to toss their machine votes to Kennedy. Even the Democrats now admit this but they just sort of chuckle over this as "hardball" politics.
