People like Murtha never 'get it'. They're in it for themselves. I honestly don't think he cares about the troops. He cares about his face in the media and next election.
The best thing you can do is this: Give money to Murtha's GOP opponent - and encourage all of your friends to do the same. Hit'em where it hurts.

I dare Murtha to appear on the O'Reilly factor. the only one I despise is WESLEY CLARK - who also hates the troops. I wish the Demos would run Clark again. He deliberately had NATO aircraft go very high up to maximize civilian casualties. Who is he to talk? He also almost started WWIII at the airport in Yugoslavia against Russia.
You just may get your wish. On the Democrat's list Gore is #1 and Clark is #2 - Kerry and Edwards come in a close 3rd.
You're exactly right. How could they not love Murtha? He's a free propoganda machine. So sad. So very, very sad.

Dont' think Gore will run (he said he wasn't but of course the DUers won't take him at his word) but Clark is very much interested and said he hasn't ruled it out (which usually means a yes). Kerry definitely wants to run (he's a sucker for punishment) and Edwards does too.

He cares about the troops about as much as John Kerry cares about the troops, absolutely zero.
