For the first time in history, a book is written to provide information on the Aramaic language of the Qur'an. For over fourtheen centuries, Muslims have been told erroneously that the language of the Qur'an is Arabic.
The Eastern Syriac dialect of Aramaic is dominant in the Quran, and many chapters are borrowed from the Hebrew Bible, but were misinterpreted by Muslim commentators.
Not understanding the Aramaic language of the Quran, and not being familiar with the development of its revelations, Muslim commentators rendered erroneous interpretations to the book. Such erroneous interpretations led to the rise of Islamic fundamentalists, like Usama Bin Laden and other Islamic terrorist organizations.
Erroneous interpretations of the Quran caused a huge gap between Islam and other civilizations, mainly the West. The gap is apparent in religious, social, political, and economic development.
The Aramaic language of the Quran calls for the treatment of women with decency. In Aramaic, the Quran does not command women to cover their faces. It does not state that men are guardians over women.
Muslim commentators state that there are virgin women in heaven with sexy eyes waiting for men who engage in Jihad. The Aramaic language of the Quran does not imply that at all. The Quranic verse says: there is water and white raisins.
According to the Aramaic language of the Quran, Jesus is united with God. The Aramaic language implies that Jesus is anointed and deliverer; he raised the dead and cured the blind. The Quran calls him the Messiah.
God of Israel Yahweh is mentioned in the Quran, but interpreted erroneously by Muslim commentators. Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad was carried out, in a night journey, from the Mosque at Mecca to the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. In Aramaic, the Quranic verse has a different meaning; it says that during the night, Allah bestowed his blessings on his servant. In addition, the trip to Jerusalem could not have happened because the Al-Aqsa Mosque did not exist during the life of the Prophet; it was built more than seventy years after the death of the Prophet.
Aramaic is not only the dominant language of the Quran; it is the language of the Quran, without which the Quran can never be understood. Every single verse of Quran is written in the Aramaic language.

He is expert on the Aramaic influence on the Quran and on Biblical Hebrew. Speaks, reads, and writes Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew. Authored many articles on the Aramaic language,
They should have re-translated it before the dog ate it; this is the sorriest propostion I have ever read.
Proposition, sorry.
Yeah right! A gay actor taking on Islam. He'll wish he was Magneto or a wizard to survive what happens to him....in Arabic or Aramaic or in anyother Islamic langage!
DURKA DURKA!
This guy had better start hiding out or the fanatics will send him to meet with Allah...
Hope he's hired bodyguards.
I wonder what differences would be revealed with a direct translation of the Bible from Aramaic?
I may be mistaken, but I think the author's point is to translate the koran from the language it was written in.
Yes. What language(s) was the Bible originally written in?
You know as well as I...a variety of ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.
Well, who ever wrote this article better go into hiding.
Isn't that part of Theresa Heinz's secret breakfast drink recipe?
... you see the potential flamewar here? :-)
Maybe they meant white water rafting.
You know, like a camping trip.
You mean that wasn't real?

I have to say I am sceptical about the muslim world's possible response to this.
I get your drift.
Wouldn't be the first time. I have been flamed, skewered and served well-done before.
Have a good weekend.
