Two weeks ago, the U.S. Senate went home for "spring break" -- but not before liberals tried to pass legislation that would grant "guest worker" AMNESTY for millions of illegal aliens. As Congress went home, hundreds of thousands of supporters of illegal immigrants rallied in cities around the country, in support of granting AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens. This week, all of our Congressmen will be returning to Washington to debate the Kennedy/McCain "immigration reform" proposal... To give AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens! We have to STOP Congress from doing that -- NOW!

To give amnesty to illegal aliens (all of whom are criminals who reveal they are willing to break laws if it benefits them or their agenda, many of them highly dangerous types) shows a nasty streak, a contempt for our laws and sympathy for those who break them. It is a slap in the face and a cruel lack of compassion for those who obey our laws.
Above all, it is a huge step towards the destruction of this country.

I asked that -- about John McCain -- on other threads a week or so ago. It's pretty surprising that Arizona constituents aren't taking him to the woodshed.
His not voting today is smoke-and-mirrors (IMHO) because last year he criss-crossed the state trying to defeat prop 200 (which passed handily). He doesn't want to be saddled with a vote next year when he starts campaigning for President, but I think it's too late and not voting speaks volumns. I read that the Minutemen visited his office last Friday and his staff insisted they leave or they were going to call the Capital Police. Even Hagel didn't give them that kind of reception.
Oh my goodness. I saw McCain during the debates in 2000; he's unstable. When the camera was off him, he paced the stage and muttered under his breath and looked incredibly angry. He turned it on and off in a really bizarre way. Everyone at our table noticed it and commented on it and I think previous to seeing him in person, our senator was going to support him.
LMAO......I'm just getting a kick out of how many times I've seen the pro-illegals try to LEGITIMIZE a CNN poll. I think it's quoted at least one time on every immigration thread. That and a list of all of the ineffective things Bush/D.C. have 'done' on immigration. I realize its about the best they've got to go with, but it's kind of like going hunting for elephant with a bb gun.

The House has been saying just about everyday now any amnesty is DOA. So why does the Senate keep going forward with this unless they don't want a bill at all, which is what I suspect we're going to end up with.
Did you read the post here last month when the woman asked him an unedited question in Sun City -- he came unglued. All the other visits on his once-a-year tour of AZ cities were orchestrated, Sun City was not.

Yes and the same with CAFTA. But with immigration it's different, I just don't see many of them budging. Bush lost on Social Security and the ports deal for the same reason so he doesn't win them all and plus there's an election coming up. How are these congressmen going to defend going along with Ted Kennedy's schemes?

If this bill ever does by chance become law in 20 years I think you'll see practically half or better of Mexico emptied into the US. And that doesn't include the rest of the countries south of the border.

Did you just hear the Fox Alert? Senate reached a 'compromise' and included will allow felons to stay in the USA..
What the Senate is doing is making their bill so outrageous nothing is going to pass. I wouldn't be suprised now if the House doesn't even appoint conferees. That's probably what Reid and Durbin and the rest of them really want.
I get really nervous when Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy are praising the President.
It should make anyone nervous. And unless Bush gets back to working with those who voted him into office his poll numbers will never recover.

The last thing we need is more muscles - the trend of the world is toward more technology, automation etc. Ditch digging jobs are drying up not increasing.
