Well, just like clockwork, new Hardball talking nutcase Russ "tiny" Tice is out again and is heading to Congress:
"Russ Tice, an NSA intelligence analyst fired last January in the wake of revelations about the agencys warrantless eavesdropping program, is finally getting his chance to tell what he says are even more explosive secrets to Congress.Rice said that the Senate Armed Services Committee has invited him to testify sometime next week about very sensitive programs and operations at NSA and DoD (Department of Defense) that likely have violated the law and the constitution.
The ultra-secret NSA operations are called special access programs, or SAPs.
The exact day next week has not been set, Tice said. Looks like it may be Tuesday or Friday in the Hart Senate Office Buildings Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) secure conference room.
An Armed Services Committee staffer could not be reached for comment at deadline.
Tice, an intelligence analyst at NSA and, before that, the Defense Intelligence Agency, said he conducted technical intelligence missions in these SAPs.
Tice said what he intends to tell the committee will include the involvement of Gen. Michael Hayden, who was the director of NSA at the time.
Hayden is facing hearings on his nomination to be director of the CIA amid a new rash of disclosures about the NSAs warrantless electronic surveillance programs.
Tice previously said he had met with staffers from the House and Senate Intelligence committees, but had feared disclosing details of still-secret NSA SAPs that he opposes because the staffers did not have high enough security clearances to hear them."
Tisk,.....digruntled no?
"In a letter last January an NSA official assured Tice, a self-described whistle-blower, that you unequivocally have every right to petition Congress for a redress of grievances. This right is guaranteed to you by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
But Tice, branded paranoid by agency doctors before he was stripped of his security clearance five months ago, making him unemployable by any intelligence agency, was warned by NSA that that he had to first provide the agency and its parent, the Department of Defense, with the information he intended to disclose and the names of people he wanted to talk to."
You'll remember that this story told us that leaky DOJ lawyers were denied clearances thus killing the probe into the NSA by Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-N.Y?
Interestingly enough just WHO do you think has been feeding info to people like, oh, Leslie Cauley?
Like since the beginning? Who is Mr. Tipster?
Three guesses - first two don't count.
Ping
FGS
Oh, no, not this guy again!!!!
Who brilliant idea was it to ask this loser to the hearings?
LOL
The phone company has it.
They've been in Washington so long, living on perks, they've probably never seen a phone bill.
Lemme see.... would I prefer to have a government agency such as the NSA have a copy of my phone bill in order to protect me from islamo-freaks ? As opposed to the information a much larger and more fearsome government agency like the IRS that already knows everything about me... name, addresses, SSN #, income sources, bank accounts/investments, size of my family and whether or not I have any dependants and takes my money ?
Every time the Spectors/Leaheys/Rockefellers/Reids get before a camera they make the case for not telling any of them anything resembling a secret, much less a secret pertaining to national security.
Now Now, you need to lower your expectations or you'll face endless frustrations.
:-)
I wouldn't trust those people with my dog
Absolutely not ! You can't trust any of them.
Just came in..am reading this.. I'm speechless. (So far) :)
