I live in NY. I was listening to WABC Radio this morning on the way to work when Ron Kuby said something that actually caused me to shout at my radio.
He said (paraphrasing here)I would love to get all of the benefits of Police, Fireman, trash collectors, roads etc...without having to pay taxes.
I shouted at my radio
JUST BE AN ILLEGAL ALIEN!
Does anyone have an email address for him? Or know how to get it? I would love to say it directly to him.
Tell him to take a bath if you do email him.
As far as trash collection is concerned, my taxes don't pay for it but I do believe they pay for the dump.
I have talked a number of times to him via email before. He does respond (or a lackey of his does). Personally he is not worth the effort because if you are winning he always gives the "I gotta go" line...
And get rid of that ridiculous pony tail. The 60s have been over for a while. How can anyone stand to listen to that man on the radio? He's a throwback.
Your taxes subsidize the recycling programs foisted on the city trash collectors. Mandatory recycling programs are nothing but feel-good, money-losing enterprises.
I know that my taxes pay for the incinerator that burns everything down to ash before it goes to the dump.
You obviously don't get to Martha's Vineyard or the Upper West Side much,do you.
There are many,many guys (well,individuals born with a "Y" chromosome) who wear their ponytails proudly and will do so until the day they die.To them,the 60's live on!
