"In 2000, I was a McCain guy."

That's where he first went wrong.

Our two political parties should be renamed. Terrible and Worse.

It is a complete and utter disgrace. I pray for our children.

So what's this guy saying, we'd be better off with Gore and Kerry or McCain? Nobody's perfect, we could have done much worse. I don't agree with the President on many things also, immigration for one and education for another but I don't think he's one of the worst either. JMHO

But God is not yet finished with George W. Bush. Play this out, over the next 32 months or so, and let the judgment of history work its effects on the legacy of this administration over the next hundred years.

It was the wrong course. All of it was wrong. We are not on the road to victory. We’re about to slink home with our tail between our legs, leaving civil war in Iraq and a nuclear armed Iran in our wake. Bali was bombed. Madrid was bombed. London was bombed. And Bin Laden is still making tapes. It’s unspeakable. The liberal media didn’t create this reality, bad policy did.

ROLL OVER AN PLAY DEAD APPEASEMENT ALERT! "It's our fault the WTC was attacked, and London, Bali and Madrid was bombed"

ASS

Doug McIntyre is a leftist. The fact that he voted for Bush goes against his norm.

Lemme get this straight. This guy criticizes Bush for over-spending and maintaining wide open borders, but he supported McCain in 2000?

I call B.S. Alert.

Bush is far from the best president we ever had, but he's also far from the worst.

There is plenty that Bush has done that I'm not happy about (primarily domestic spending) but I am reasonably happy with his judicial nominees (a major reason why I voted for him), still think Iraq was a good move for a variety of reasons, and think that no matter how bad President Bush has been on certain issues, a President Gore or President Kerry would have been far worse. So as long as the Democrats put up people like Gore and Kerry, I have no regrets voting for a Bush, even though there are plenty of other Republicans and conservatives I'd rather see as President.

I tried to call in on this this morning, i listened to it as i was driving to work. I wanted to tell him i had never heard such a sanctimonious self serving load of monday morning hindsight quarterbacking in my life. Thank god he is just another radio guy trying to get ratings in Los angeles.

To one Doug from another PING, since Doug McInLiar is a SoCal loco (err, local).

This guy is one of the whiniest, snarkiest, vacillating rubes I've ever heard. I had the misfortune of seeing him in person last year at the Battle of the KABC Talk Show All Stars (along with Al Rantel, Larry Elder, and Mr. KABC). This guy is on every side of every issue, and whines when he does it.

He is entitled to his opinion, as I am to mine: 790 does not get pressed on my dial, except for Larry Elder, Mark Levin and Tammy Bruce.

My daily routine, if I even feel like following politics anymore, is:

Rick Roberts on KFMB
Rush (of course)
personal music from 12-3
Larry Elder/Hugh Hewitt,
Frank Pastore on KKLA 99.5FM.

No McInLiar or ManCowpile in the Morning for me.

Funny thing.

I think Bush's decision to overthrow Saddam Hussein and attempt to transform the vermin infested MIddle East was ONE OF THE FEW THINGS HE HAS DONE CORRECTLY (as possible.)

I'm more upset at GWB's attempt to turn America into a third world culture by opening the southern border floodgates.

In fact, I KNOW the terrorists will never be able to overthrow or cause great harm to continental US.

But America could easily become balkanized, with an obstinate Mexican have'not society demanding (and getting) their way through a series of mini- civil war type actions.

If you doubt it, just look at the millions who have been pouring out into the public streets the past weeks, waving (with impugnity) the Mexican flag while touting communism as the best way to topple the gringo govt.

If these mobs ever get the vote, and they might thanks to the Democratic Party and the liberal wing of the GOP, then we can begin to kiss our way of life goodbye, and begin to teach your children and grandchildren how to count in pesos and how to talk Spanish.

Total BS!
Anyone can make that statement.

The validity of such an irrational pronouncement can best be judged by the absence of whom he would have voted for and how he guesses things might have gone better.

Bush's rating with me is down in the lower two digits, but I can't think of any democrat or independent that might have done a better job.

Bottom line? I would vote for him again.

--- Then, the talk turned to Iraq and I winced again. I thought the connection to 9-11 was sketchy at best.---

Well dummy that is because the Bush Admin never said Saddam did 9/11. It is the liberal left that spread that junk around.

I watched and tried to justify the looting in Iraq division of Europe by the Iron Curtain after the fall of Saddam Hitler. I watched and tried to justify the dismantling of the entire Iraqi army Nazi Party. I tired to explain the complexities of building a functional new Iraqi German army

Et cetera, blah blah blah
