How many times have we heard this? It would've been better if Freddie Silverman had not killed the television project in the 70s/80s(?). It's a bit dated now with the propeller airplanes and that.

Also, to show the whole book on film I would estimate that the film would have to run 15 hours. What would one edit that down to? 10 hours? 12 hours?

Maybe it can be shown in parts on cable tv.
