This nation is in danger. Not from mythical "weapons of mass destruction" or from terrorist bogeymen. The danger facing us is far more real and lethal than either of these -- the danger is from the radical reactionaries who have taken control of the Republican Party, who have squelched political debate, who bully and threaten anyone who dares oppose them, and whose political program intends to destroy every bit of progress made in this nation since the Great Depression.
When faced with an enemy that is as dangerous as the radical reactionary rightwing, decent people can no longer fight with both hands tied behind us. For that reason, this site will not shrink from fighting back against the rightwing and its lies. The tone of this site is pugnacious and in-your-face. Liars will be exposed as liars, fools will be exposed as fools, and assholes will be exposed as assholes.
The battle to rescue this nation from the radical reactionaries is war.
Rightwingnuts who take offense at anything on this site may kiss my ass.

I'm sure the author doesn't know just how true a statement that is. Here's another saying: "It is better to say nothing and allow people to believe you a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

I'm currently debating a wild-eyed liberal on another website who is a hardcore "Bush Lied" Lefty. My strategy is to solicite hard facts vis a vis the Bush Lied theory. So far there is only the tired business about Bush knowing there were no WMDs and not telling Congress. I think he is going to be very hard pressed to come up with anything to really support that argument but you never know.
In any case I'm using FR as my main source for countering but would welcome any other links that are high-Q to this issue.

It's funny that "Christian" has become such a bad word. I guess having morals and being driven by something other than your own vices is criminal in their eyes.
The Jesus hyperlink doesn't work, the links are mostly to vicious anti-American and anti-Christian sites, and the claim that Jesus was a liberal and a Democrat is of equal value.
I've got some friends who speak like this. Well, acquaintances, anyway. This dog don't make sense.
