I'm sure this is a rhetorical question. Politicians of all stripes are essentially liars and dishonest to the core and worthy of suspicion. But, true, the dems fit the definition of fifth column best.
What was it Twain said, something like "It can be proven by facts and figures that there is no more uniquely American collection of theives and criminals to be found under one roof than Congress."

The Democrats are a danger to America because the people who make up the majority of that party are losers.
They are the lazy dropouts who refuse to lift a finger to better their own station (and thus help improve the country) in life.
They are dumbed down by Liberal TV, Liberal movies, Liberal music and a poor education system designed and run by the Democrat party.
So of course they make the absolute worst kind of destructive politics imaginable, even treason.
Do you know what politics used to be? Kiss the baby and wave the flag. Democrats are even too stupid to do that anymore.

And as far back as the 40's,there was at least one Fifth Columnist in a top position in the democRAT Party (Vice President Henry Wallace)
