Can't be there, but sure would like to hear what those three have to say about the TTC. Would someone from the Temple area please post local coverage after the forum?

Guess I'm going to hold my nose and vote for one of the three, although it looks like Perry has it locked. I am so disappointed in him.

Perry has it locked. I thought the whole toll roads issue put his candidacy at risk.

The original blog posting was yesterday, so hopefully, somebody went to the forum. I thought it interesting that Rick Perry wasn't there to answer the questions of citizens concerned about or opposed to the TTC.

I've heard of the rest but who is Chris Bell? TTC is a big concern, but it's still second to School Vouchers and Perry is the only one who really "supports" them.

Chris Bell is the Democratic candidate for governor. Best they could come up with. Where was John Sharp when he actually could have won? Tells you how pitiful the Dems are in Texas.

Nothing person, understand, but it's double-dumb stupid to be even talking about school vouchers when the state is under court order to fix school financing, and our lame governor/lt. gov/state legislature can't seem to get the job done. Even after multiple special sessions and another one set to convene.

First things first, OK?

Supporting Gore and hammering nails into the Democrat's coffin.

Re: School Vouchers. That should be a part of the finance solution. Half of the money given out per student to our school districts can instead be used by parents at private schools. The school districts have on fewer student to babysit but still have half of the money. And we can send our kids to good schools. It is really win-win.

Oh, crap. I can't believe I missed that. I could've sworn they didn't have a date, implying it was on the day it was posted. Well, hope nobody showed up early...
