HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Haleigh Poutre's birth mother is expected to file a court motion seeking more of a say in her daughter's medical care.

Allison Avrett plans to appear in Holyoke Juvenile Court on Wednesday.

Haleigh, 12, has been hospitalized since police say her adoptive mother and stepfather severely beat her in September.

About a week after taking custody of the Westfield girl in September, the Department of Social Services sought permission to remove her from life support.

Last evening, the Church Without Walls in Tampa (a major one) held a special service for Martin Anderson, the 14 year old child who was beaten for 30 minutes by Florida Sheriffs (who work for Fla AG Crist do they not but they are probably endorsing him for governor). A state nurse stood there the entire time and waited twenty minutes to call for an ambulance. What were they waiting for? Were they waiting for Martin to be dead so he would not be a witness?

Crist has not made one statement about the child's beating even though it was Law Enforcement who took this child's life. LE should not be beating any child. Jeb is handling the aftermath of Martin's death for Crist.

Funny how Jeb is stepping over into another department because it's politically expedient for him to cover for Crist's Sheriffs, but Jeb wouldn't step on any toes in Terri's case.

ANYHOO, Michael Baden was up there by the altar with the minister and others for Martin Anderson's tribute. The Church Without Walls donated $15,000 to Martin's mother.

Martin Anderson (RIP) is another individual with a medical condition who was abused until dead by the State of Florida. Michael Baden said at the event something like this: I have never seen anybody in New York State die in custody who has a Sickle Cell trait. He was talking about hundreds of people.

If Jeb wasn't handling this Martin Anderson investigation for Charlie Crist, Crist's chances of being governor would be over. The Man From Glad's underlings killed Martin Anderson. Martin was a black child who joyrided with his grandma's car and paid for it with his life.

Tom Gallagher for Governor should make this a campaign issue and maybe sometime he will.

Somethin's wrong with Florida, y'all. The culture of death has a strong foothold here.

The article points out what we see all the time at protest rallies. Conservatives vs liberals: who is more likely to turn vicious on the opposing side? Conservatives also clean up their trash before they leave.

Roe is a fraud. Jane McCorvey admitted that she lied throughout the proceedings. Right then and there, Roe should have been wiped off the books.

I hope the Unruhs have security cameras set up to catch the people doing it, and if LE won't prosecute them, they can sue for civil damages. As for Joshua, he will harbor negative feelings for cops for many years. Joshua's heart and soul were in the right place, but his parents shouldn't have let him do it.

Oh boy, that's telling them! I have something similar in mind for my living will, and last will and testament. I think I wouldn't be so harsh sounding, but it would have the same intent. Too bad I didn't document all the "loans" I've given. It probably adds up into the thousands, and this is from a person who doesn't have much.

I agree that this is a powerful campaign issue. Jeb obviously caught what his brother has. This issue should not be covered up, and just because Jeb is a lame duck, he still has a job to do. That job is to uphold the law, and protect the citizens he is responsible for. I hope he knows his political career is DOA, like poor Martin. Crist is a political hack without a true calling for justice.

Like I said before, I'm not up on the upcoming elections in Florida, but Gallagher should make this an issue. Plenty of folks have lost family and friends in custody, but never could prove if it was abuse. This young man's beating was taped, and bless the person who risked his/her neck getting it out to the public.

Because the state definitely has a strong affinity for killing people, even if people turn out in droves for Gallagher, he still might not win. Florida also has a reputation for corruption as well.
