This has got to be one of the most shocking FUnnies threads ever. I'm sorry I got here so late.

Here's a guy who was obviously a long time DUer (I'll refrain from using DUmmie to refer to TSLP) and he gets the heave-ho so quickly because he contradicts the keyboard protesters. Really, this is deplorable behavior even for the rest of the kooks in DUmmieLand.

It looks like his deployment wizened him up to the ways of the people he previously associated with.

I dare say that if a long time FReeper Marine came back from Iraq and wrote about the many problems he faced, and how his faith in America was shaken by the experience, we would see a thread as long as one of the nonsense threads that never seem to die. There would be detractors but there would be many who would want to learn from his experiences and try to understand how we could influence the administration, congress, whoever on how to make things better for the men and women fighting over there.

But to be dismissed so cavalierly is juvenile at best.
