Did Willie Herenton Use MPD To Cover Up The Death Of Michael Simon Who Was Rear-Ended And Killed By His Daughter-in-Law
On May 29, 2003 Michael Simon was rear ended and killed on the expressway by Andrea Herenton,daughter-in-law of Willie Herenton. There were reports that she had just left a party where she had been drinking. The dead man was given a alcohol test where it was found that he had NO alcohol in his system. But Andrea was never given such a test. Maybe because the mayor was present, and Bobby Todd Commander of the traffic division and close friend of Willie, saw to it that the rules were not followed.
The rules state that all party's should have been given a alcohol test. Looking at the police reports witnesses stated that Andrea Herenton was driving at a high rate of speed when she hit the rear end of the Taurus that Simon was driving. In fact he was hit so hard that it forced his car across the median into East bound traffic.
Why did Andrea not have to take a alcohol test? Was the promotion of Bobby Todd from traffic commander to deputy chief a pay off? Todd has been charged with fixing reports. Why was the car that Michael Simon driving shredded the very next day? Why wasn't it kept for investigation? Do you think that Andrea Herenton received special treatment? Do you think that the mayor would use his position as mayor to have the truth covered up?
IS THIS A MATTER THAT THE TBI AND FBI SHOULD BE LOOKING INTO?
Is this the same guy who's dancing on the "caption" thread?
Heck yes! They shredded the car the next day?
yes, that's him ... at least Ray Nagin can plead incompetence. Herenton is as politically self-serving as any politician in the last half century.
And at least Nagin is nice looking, not only do we have a crook for our mayor in Memphis he is UGLY,UGLY
