his brain turns to mush.

"Turns" to mush?

Like most leftist-liberals, his brain has always been mush.

Well, at least he spoke out for Bush in the WOT in the early days.

Don't know where he stands now.

A sheep farm 70 miles outside of London? Something tells me he isn't in it for the wool.

The "cute" Beatle has always been overrated, IMO. George Harrison was the true backbone of the group.

It's rather humorous looking back to the 60's and remembering
what the perception of those Rock stars were in our minds.
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, the Doors etc.
were looked on as radical anti-everything, bordering on renegade.

But they were the cool dudes, they had all the groupies hanging
around, gave all the great parties, so we thought at the time.

I cant help my regrets, that I was part of that whole mind set.
I have a cousin that is still living the Jerry Garcia lifestyle,
right down to the beard, @ the ripe age of 59.

Now thanks to John Kerry, Tom Hayden, Jesse Jackson, and the rest
we are reaping the benefits of the 60's Hippie bullshit in an exalted
fashion. Bono getting an invite by "W", now sir Paul being knighted
and assuming the aire of knowledge on anything global.

I just had to rant a little on that one, it's been buggin' me for
awhile. Had to get it off my chest. This was the first thread I've seen
for some time that sparked the thought.

What other culture has looked to jugglers, clowns and minstrels for cultural and geopolitical advice?

My sister says that the Beatles are dying in order of talent. She also says Ringo is next to go.
