Pro-French, pro-free speech, anti-Islam demonstration in Paris (A French After Action Report?)
E-nough! ^ | 02/24/06 | Carine

Posted on 02/25/2006 5:59:21 PM PST by Earthdweller

"Tonight, a demonstration in support of Denmark took place in Paris. No link for this event, the media probably won't mention it. I haven't seen any of them there anyway."

"This demonstration was supposed to take place in front of the Danish embassy, avenue Marceau, near the Champs Elysées."

"Unfortunately, it was impossible to get any closer than a block away from the embassy: policemen where preventing any pedestrian from walking on the sidewalk of the embassy as well as on the opposite side of the street. The street wasn't blocked to traffic though, as cars could go through. Only to pedestrians."

"The little group - I'd say around 300 people - nevertheless gathered no far from the police. The event gathered several Pro-French organizations, Christian organizations, militants of the far-right, members of the nationalist, far-right group Les Identitaires (The "Identitarians", see here) and supporters, as well as the founder, of the Blue Revolution. The people were clearly there not only to support free speech, not only to oppose Islam, but also to support Denmark. Well, I guess that goes with the support for free speech."

I have no idea what is going on in Europe and Australia in regards to the Death Cult threat, but I will say, a month ago I would not have predicting the level of resistance were are seeing (especially in Australia). I'm starting to think the future, as always is not predictable, maybe the sight of their own corpse is awakening Europe in time to save itself.

I could maybe post it for you know, but there's no way I could post it 30 years ago.

Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet.

The French haven't always been passive. I think the power of modern nations to do so much damage un-nerved them for 60 years so far. Will they wake up or will it become 100 years of French guilt and self-fear - I'm betting that any awakening is likely to be painfully slow with lots of backsliding.

But then I was born to an American military family in France and I'm particularly in tune with how France treated our military people in the 60's - so hopefully I can be forgiven for a negativre attitude toward the French.

Not to worry. The French will change their minds and surrender soon enough.

Thanks for the offer. I may not have the proper lighting to take the digital images tonight, though.

Oh man, this is wonderful. There are at least 300 intelligent people in France. God bless them.

Have you seen the video? It's pretty good.

I can not believe people are not picking on on this. I must have done the headline wrong. The Germany story is overriding it. I hope this gets out.

I was surprised to hear ome of the slogans that they chanted. I have a friend in southern France who thinks that this sort of thing is going to continue to boil.
