Remember the Russian spies, I mean, "diplomats" that got smoked trying to leave Iraq?

I have to wonder about that... I don't believe the details were ever released. (Were they?)

Do you mean the communist who'd been kicked out of power when they attempted a second coup?

Russia's interest is in its business contracts with Iran, not the danger posed by Islamofascist fanatics threatening to wipe Israel--and anyone else they don't like--off the map.

Making money is fun, isn't it, Vlad?

Thank you Mr. Lavrov but we are quite capable of deciding who we threaten. Zipper it.

The message back should be: "We aren't threatening Iran. They are threatening us."

US to Russia (if we had the guts): Shut Up!!!!!

We should have finished you off in 1945 if it hadn't been for the communist glutted Truman government.

Keeping in Mind that it was Putin who came to Bush's aid during the election and pinted out that they had evidence Sadam was trying to buy WMDs while our Europeon allies were busy saying how they'd be more interested to 'Work with a Kerry administration'.

He was asked to comment on Bill Frist's statement that we can use "military option" if we needed to.
This is how Lavrov responded to that question. It's all over russian news sites here ->

It is believed in Russia that they were moving papers detailing Russia-Iraq cooperation.

Some also think they could have moved Saddam WMD out, they were "diplomats" and all of the cargo was untouchable.

During cold war this is how SVR/KGB was moving objects up to the size of Abrams M1 engines from West Europe to USSR..

USSR/Russia

All Chinies / N.Korea weapons are made/copy of soviet, and were supplied to China/N.Korea for free from USSR/Russia just to keep US at bay..
