A Danish lad here... I would just like to say that I and many danes deeply appreciate your fantastic support.
I am a member of Conservativ Youth (a group which supports George Bush's policy in Iraq among other things), and my favourite newspaper is the "Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten", which in the good old days supported the Danish Conservative Party; today the newspaper is independent, however a right-wing one! The newspaper is very sober and serious, and the reason for publishing the cartoons was for the fact, that the journalists knew, that muslims would complain about and so on... They are a bunch of f*** wankers... (Sorry for my british - just been in London for several months... ;))
Here is some nice conservativ propaganda:

http://www.arkaisk.dk/israel66.jpg -(it says "A threat? NOT!")
I would also like to inform you, that the reason for not deciding playing against Israel is not for the fact, that the national team wishes to support the arabs in this conflict. The reason is, that the head coach/manager is concerned about the many terrorists in the region.
My own personal team Odense is at the moment in Turkey, and the manager Bruce Rioch was also concerned about the same. He, however, chose to go to the country anyhow for reasons i don't know.
Please stay and post with us. We've got your back.
A true Dane in the thread?! Hang in there friend. Word travels fast from the happenings on this site. It might take a couple of weeks for the positive effects to be realized, but I think it will be noticed SOON!
Your Queen Margrethe II sounds absolutely fierce and loyal to her country. A real woman of conviction. It was wonderful to hear her speak in defense of her country against these barbaric monsters. That first image you linked was exactly correct:
You might get a kick out of this: from an article I posted by Michelle Malkin "Don't Forget: Buy Danish!" I went shopping and came back to report what I proudly bought to support your country:
I found (all products of Denmark!):
Havarti Cheese - 1 lb.
Blue cheese - 1 wedge
Fontina cheese wedge
Knorr pesto seasoning packets
Knorr spinach mix (florentine)/soup box
FRIS Vodka (neat bottle!)
(*I'm suspicious that Knorr products are not from Denmark, as some blogs have claimed... do you know?*)
It's quite rewarding to buy products in support of something, rather than boycotting products.
And you never have to apologize for your "British" 'round these parts! The Brits are our allies as well in this war :-).
Welcome to Free Republic, and please visit as you can! It's fascinating to hear a first-person perspective on this, like your notations about the newspaper journalists. That was great!
