Massachusetts AG Picks Career Criminal as Running Mate
Various Boston Political Apologists | 1/31/06 | asa66

It doesn't get any better than this. The scramble is on to succeed retiring MA Gov. Mitt Romney. One announced candidate is Tom Reilly, MA attorney general and stone cold Marxist. Reilly has set a new standard in corruption by unilaterally declaring guns "unsafe consumer products" and then banning the sale of new guns in Massachusetts. It is hard to put into words how loathsome a man he is.

Well, Reilly just announced his running mate. In Massachusetts the Gov. and Lt. Gov. run separately even if they are of the same party. Reilly's pick is Marie St. Fleur (Lunatic - Dorchester), a member of the state house of representatives and a walking stereotype of the lunatic liberal race monger. St. Fleur already has the support of the Revolutionary Communist Progressive Party (I am not making this up). In the 48 hours since the announcement, it has also been revealed that St. Fleur has had three delinquent tax debts in the last four years, including an April 2005 federal tax lien of $12,711 against her and her husband. She also admitted that she owes $40,000 in delinquent federally backed student loans.

After telling the press that she had paid down the federal tax debt to about $8,000 by making $500 monthly payments since last spring, it was revealed that she had lied again and in fact made only one $500 payment last May and that the balance is still more than $12,000.

The Boston Fishwrap, wholly owned by not only the New York Times but the Kennedy Family, immediate ran a puff piece on her, stating that she had no intention of stepping aside nor any sense of whether her debt will be a political liability. ''That's up to how people interpret this," she said.

"She said she believes most people will understand her problems, because they are so common: She and her husband have struggled to make ends meet on modest incomes while raising three children.

Reilly said, ''She'll connect with ordinary people," he said. ''She'll understand their struggles." (Apparently, ordinary Democrats don't pay their taxes or repay their loans).

Strangely enough, "...the public record of the federal tax liability is "missing" from the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds, where it should be readily available to anyone doing a database search. Secretary of State William F. Galvin, who oversees the Registry, said he is launching an inquiry to make sure no one acted to remove the record." (I'll bet).

This is the Democratic Party in 2006: criminals, Marxists, losers. Looks like a good year for the other side.

Let those fools up there stew in this like the jackasses in New Jersey and now Virginia ( 4 billion in new taxes). They vote for these people, let them suffer the consequences.
