If Lynne Cheney was stressed...and it was about this...it better be because Cheney is in poor health...and NOT because Cheney is being thrown overboard...

EVEN I would have to re-think my love for President Bush, then.

I'd love to see Cheney hold out, but he is struggling with his health - I'd hate to see the big one happen. He should retire and let Condi or Dole take his place, or any number of others, but not Frist!

I thought that the VP looked healthier than his wife did tonight.

But why would we want Cheney to finish his term? At least with a candidate in place for '08 there is a better/slight chance that the encumbent would be elected along with a new VP.

Cheney is a great VP, but it would be good if the GOP had someone there who would be a legitimate Presidential candidate.

Before George H.W. Bush, when was the last sitting VP to be elected President?

How many sitting VPs have been elected President?

The ascension isn't as normal as you've been led to think.

Order of sucession only matters if everyone above is removed. If VP Cheney steps down, the President picks his replacement. Gerald Ford was selected by Nixon to be Agnew's replacement.

Ford and Rockefeller both needed to be confirmed by a majority of the House and Senate.

Most likely, someone saw this rumor on NRO today and made it their own by adding an utterly idiotic twist.

Joe Illuzzi

Publishing fraud Illuzzi was convicted yet again, this time for being a deadbeat dad.

Media fake Joe Illuzzi pled guilty to deadbeat dad charges. Rest assured, if money is involved, Illuzzi is in trouble.

July 31, 1969: Joe Illuzzi and his roommate hold up a bank for $6,500. The need for the money? apparently to pay off bad debts and back rent. The threat to the bank employee? "Your family is being held hostage at their home in Lackawanna".

Apparently, not much has changed in 32 years. Today, Joe Illuzzi is free on bail of $25,000 for his nearly $50,000 in unpaid child support.

If you want a scary thought, consider this: If Clinton HAD been convicted in his impeachment, President Gore would have been running for re-elction in 2000.
